When you don’t know the meaning of your life, you will lose the power to move on!

In the real world, on the operating table, the doctor just finished Akira’s brain surgery but suddenly Akira’s heartbeat completely stops and the electrocardiograph machine alerts in a very big sound “Bi……………………………..” the nurse runs to Olga to inform her about Akira’s dangerous situation. Olga needs to decide together with the brain neurosurgeon if they will do the aggressive resuscitation on Akira. But the doctor just finished the surgery on his brain. It’s really dangerous to do any aggressive resuscitation on him. Mrs. Lin already decides to give up resuscitation if it will make Akira become a PSV (persistent vegetative state). So Olga injects a cardiac into Akira’s heart then holds Akira’s hands says: “Akira, I am Katherine. Can you hear me? Then she pulls Akira’s right hand to touch her mole behind her ear then says: “Can you feel this special flower shape mole behind my ear? Every time when you touch my hairs you said this mole is like a flower. Do you remember it? I am really your Katherine, your love.” Then Olga pull Akira’s right hand onto her heart and close her eyes and says: “Can you feel my heart is beating for you? In the past 15 years, my heat has been beating for you just because I keep your love in my heart and we had the vow to see all the beautiful things in this world together.  Do you remember it?” Then Olga keeps eyes closing and quiet to let Akira feels her heartbeat.

In the dream Akira is on the way to see Katherine to the heaven. Both his heartbeat and breath completely stop. He lost all his hope to survive and don’t know what the meaning is to continue his life. Suddenly Katherine appears in his dream. It’s so real just like Katherine sitting next to him on the bed. Katherine says: “Akira, my love! You are so young and full of love in your mind. You have ever helped so many orphans to make them happy and taught them what the positive energy of life should be. You also took care of me with your love and guided me to live in a happy way even I was about to become blind. You are so kind and full of positive energy in your life. Why can you give up your life in this meaningless way just because I left you to the heaven? Please keep our love in your mind and keep helping people who need help. Please keep our love in your mind to love the people who need love. There is a sun in your mind. You don’t need anybody to give you sunshine. You need to use your sunshine and your love to shine the people around you then you will know what the meaning of life is and what the true love in this world is. If you will die in this meaningless way, I won’t forgive you and I won’t see you in the heaven. If you would like to let me live in the heaven happily, please live bravely and happily with our love just like I am still living with you. Please promise me and wake up to continue your life bravely. Do you remember our vow to see all the beautiful things in this world together? Please keep traveling and send me postcards then I will be able to see all the beautiful things together with you. Do you remember you are my eyes? If you don’t live happily to see this beautiful world for me, how can I see this world through your eyes? You need to keep your promise for me. Please wake up to complete our vow! Then Katherine uses the pillow hitting on the face of Akira. Suddenly Akira wakes up and shouts: “Please don’t go, Please don’t go. Stay with me! I promise you I will live bravely! ” But he could not find anybody in his room. It was just a dream which Katherine came to see him and woke him up in the dream. Akira looks at the photo of Katherine with full of tears in his eyes and says to her: “Ok, I promise you to live bravely with our love but please also live happily in the heaven! I will keep my promise taking you to see all the beautiful things in this world“

In the real world at the Prague first hospital, Olga still holds Akira’s right hand on her heart. The electrocardiograph machine alerts in a very big sound again “Bi……………………………..” Akira’s heart begins beating again. Olga cries happily and hugs Akira tightly. Everybody in the operating room is all full of tears in their eyes. But nobody knows it was Olga or Katherine talking to Akira. But they clearly know it’s the power of love.

If the dreams overlapping with real life, you will not able to tell which one is real!

At the Prague first hospital, Natalie, Mrs. Lin and Olga are waiting anxiously outside the operating room because the operating time is longer than what they expected and nurses told them Akira’s situation is very unstable. Olga begins standing up and walks back and forth on the waiting hall. Suddenly, Mrs. Lin sees the mole behind the Olga’s right ear. She stands up and walks to Olga. “May I see your mole behind your right ear?” Mrs. Lin says. Olga nods her head and show her ear to Mrs. Lin. Mrs. Lin is shocked very much. She asks: “When did you have this mole from your childhood?”. Olga says: “No, after I came back from Australia, I found it, and it became bigger and bigger in this size and this shape when Akira appeared. Mrs. Lin says:” Do you know, Katherine has the same shape mole at the same place behind her ear. It’s almost 100% same.”. Olga feels shocks too. It seems the heart of Katherine not only beating in her body, also showing some features of Katherine on her appearance. Now Olga understands why when people asked her about Akira, she didn't think more just directly answered we have known each other for 15 years already. Because this answer was from Katherine’s mind.

On the operating table, Akira is immersing himself in the sad dream of Katherine’s death. He stays in the room of Katherine and trying very hard to put her things into cartons with a very reluctant and sad mood. Before new school year begins, he needs to clean up this room and return it to the landlord. Akira is a very well organized person. He can deal with many big projects of many charity events but for cleaning up this small room, becomes the most difficult task for him in his life. After 2 days, the room of Katherine is still the same full of her personal belongs but even more clean because Akira wiped them one by one and put back to the same place. In these 2 days, Akira didn't eat any foods. Only when his friends live in the same floor forced him to eat then he tried hard to eat some. He becomes weaker and weaker. He still wants to keep everything in Katherine’s room same as before, because he is waiting for the miracle. How he wishes Katherine can suddenly come back with a miracle, even he had already finished her funeral with her family. The next day morning, one of his friend lives in the same floor knocks his room says: “Akira you have some mails and one postcard. I bring them from your mailbox for you.” Akira tries very hard siting up from his bed and opens the door. He sits on the bed to see those mails. All of them are the thank mails from the children in the orphanage. One postcard makes Akira shocked. It’s the first postcard written by Katherine from Sydney but just arrives now.

“My love A, 

 Last night I missed you so much. I called you when my mother was taking a shower but it’s very sad that you didn’t answer the phone. During the day, we are driving on the way, it’s impossible to call you, so I decided to write you a postcard every day until I come back to Taiwan. Australia is very beautiful. Today we visit the Sydney white opera house. It’s a very special building but I can’t see it clearly. I only can feel it’s white building like a special cake. How I wish you could be here with me, because you are my eyes, with you I can see everything. I miss you.

The saddest thing is that you don’t’ believe the happened fact and still live in the past!

At the Prague first hospital, Natalie and Mrs. Lin continue to tell the past story to Olga.

“After Mrs. Lin signed the heart donation agreement, due to urgency, the cardiac surgeon quickly arranged the heart transplant operation in the same day evening. Katherine is one year older than Olga. Her blood type is same with Olga. They are almost same height and with similar body shape so the heart size of Katherine fits for Olga. The operation takes about 10 hours and successfully. Katherine’s heart began to beat in the Olga’s body. And the doctors and nurses in the operating room are glad with this successful operation.  Olga needs very long time to recover her health and energy so she and Natalie stayed in the hospital.

After finished the necessary processes with Australia police, the hospital burned Katherine’s body and Mrs. Lin planted to fly back to Taiwan very soon. Because she couldn’t bear any pains more in any longer time, she just wanted to take Katherine bone ash home as soon as possible. Before she left, she went to see Olga and Natalie. Olga was still in her recovering period and slept deeply.  Mrs. Lin just told her lightly: “Be brave my daughter! Live with Olga with your love. If the fate will give us any chances, I will see again you in the future! “(Even though she and Natalie said, Olga will be the daughter of Mrs. Lin too, she clearly know it’s better not to contact to disturb Olga’s future life). Then Mrs. Lin held Natalie’s hands said: “Take good care of yourself and our daughter. Katherine had a wish to become a doctor. If possible, please educate Olga to be a doctor to help more people. This will make Katherine’s heat and life more meaningful. You don’t need to tell Olga about this heart transplant surgery. Also I will not contact you anymore. But if in case any urgent things happened in the future please inform me, we will try our best to help Olga. I will not tell Akira and Karolina about this heart transplant surgery.” After this short conversation, they hugged each other and said goodbye to each other. “

Natalie and Mr. Lin tell Olga:” If not because Akira came here and met you, for protecting you, maybe in their whole life, we won’t contact each other.” Now finally Olga knows why she has this special connection with Akira in the dreams, because she had the heart from Katherine and her dreams actually were the ones of Katherine.

To sacrifice maybe is another way to love!

Katherine stays in the hospital owned by Karolina’s father. People in this hospital call him Doctor. Chen. Dr. Chen is a famous Neurosurgical authority in Brisbane. He is checking the medical record of Katherine and is discussing the worst situation of Katherine with Mrs. Lin. (Katherine’s mother). Dr. Chen says: Due to Katherine was staying in the water too long and lacking of oxygen in her brain for long time, her brain is dead. Even we use ECMO (extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation. A life sustainer) to keep her life, she will become a PVS (Persistent Vegetable State) forever. From my professional advice and from the suggestion of a best friend, I would suggest you give up resuscitating her.  Mrs. Lin is very sad and doesn’t want to make this decision. She makes an international call to Katherine’s father Doctor. Lin –he is the classmate of Dr. Chen and is a Neurosurgical authority in Taiwan too. After a long discussion, Doctor Lin agrees with the advice from Dr. Chen But for a mother it’s really a heartbroken decision. She sits in the office of Dr. Chen crying for a long while. The mother of Karolina -Mrs. Chen also staying with her trying to console her.

At this moment, another ambulance arrives the emergency department of the hospital. The first aid nurse shuts DOA case! DOA case!  Emergency resuscitation!

In the real world, at the Prague first hospital, Natalie, Olga and Mrs. Lin are sitting outside the operating room waiting for the doctor to finish the Neurosurgical operation for Akira. Natalie and Mrs. Lin decide to tell Olga what happened in Brisbane before.  “When Olga was 18 years old before went to the Charles 1st university medicine faulty, Natalie gave her an Australia trip as a gift for getting the entrance permission of the best university in Czech. They flew to Australia and rented a car driving along the coastline to visit the beautiful cities one by one. Also Natalie took this chance to teach Olga painting at each beautiful scenery area. They enjoyed the beautiful scenery in Australia and had painted many pictures on the beaches.

On that Christmas which Katherine was drawing at the sea of GOLD COAST, Natalie and Olga were at a nearby beach painting. After finished painting, they drove under the pink clouds of sunset. On the way back to hotel, a lethal car accident happened. One truck loaded full of metal tubes driving on the opposite lane suddenly burst the front tyre then crashed into their car. Natalie was driving and listening to the music enjoying the beautiful sunset scenery. Olga was sleeping next to her. She didn’t have any time to react this sudden situation just tried to turn the steering wheel but it’s too late. After Natalie woke up, she lay on the bed in the hospital but Olga was not next to her.  Even though she also seriously injured, she tried to find where the Olga is. The nurse told her, one metal tube just pierced the heart of Olga. Olga was in the heart surgery room. But her heart seriously injured, she was in a very dangerous situation. Natalie tried very hard to walk to the operating room and waiting outside. After a long while, doctor came out and told Natalie if without transplanting a heart for Olga, she will die soon. Now they only can use ECMO (Extra-Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation- A life sustainer) to keep her life for few days. Natalie busted out crying in a very helpless way and didn’t know what she could do.

You won't believe somethings really can happen in your real life even it's really like a dream!

After traveled 3 days along the coastline, they arrive Karolina’s home at Brisbane. Karolina takes them into their big villa near the beach.  Karolina’s parents are preparing delicious dinner to welcome Katherine and her mother. They have not seen each other for very long time since they immigrated to Australia. Karolina’s mother gives Katherine a very big hug and kisses her on the cheek. For her, Katherine is like her another daughter. During the dinner, they have endless topics to talk about. Because of very happy, Karolina’s father drinks too much wine and drunken at the end of the dinner. It’s really a very joyful dinner.

Karolina arranges a room facing the sea for Katherine. In the night, she can see the moon shining in the sky because Karolina knows Katherine will write Akira postcards before sleep, a window facing the sea is the best place to miss the person you love.

Katherine stays happily at Karolina’s home. Sometimes Karolina drives her to the Brisbane center shopping. Sometimes they swim together in the pool and have BBQ with whole family and Arjan. Sometimes they don’t do anything just sitting in the garden looking at the sea and blue sky talking about their dreams. “What is your dream?” Karolina asks Katherine. Katherine keeps silent for a long while and says: Before I did have very many dreams. I want to be a doctor. I want to help many people who need help. I want to travel all over the world. But now, I only hope I won’t become blind soon and staying with Akira longer. Then Katherine says: My best sister, if something bad happens to me in the future, can you please take care of Akira on behalf of me? He is a very good man and he is so lonely without any family and needs love in his life. After hearing this, Karolina also becomes silent and feels sad for Katherine. Karolina says: No. please don’t say this. Nothing bad will happen to you.

Christmas is coming but it is summer in Australia. Karolina has never spent Christmas in summer. Christmas is also a very special day for Akira. It’s his birthday. But in Taiwan not many people celebrate Christmas and it’s not a public holiday everybody still needs to work or need to go to school. At the Christmas Eve, Karolina’s parents prepare a very special pool side dinner for Katherine and her mother. They have the dinner under the sky with moonshine. The wind blows from the sea and the moonshine sprinkles on the garden. It’s a so special and beautiful Christmas Eve dinner. Of course, at this beautiful moment, Katherine is missing Akira very much.  Especially, they should celebrate together for Akira’s birthday but they couldn’t. After dinner, to make Katherine feel better not missing Akira so much. Karolina walks together with Katherine on the beach to see the beautiful moonlight shining on the sea. They almost forget Arjan. This makes Arjan feel very disappointed with this Christmas Eve. So he requests another party to the Gold Coast the next day.

Akira is a gentle and shy young man. Staying with him just like the spring breeze softly blows on your face --warm and nice.

Even though he has been together with Katherine for one and half years already, he has never said: “I love you” to Katherine. He just took care of Katherine in a calm and soft way. Always makes Katherine feel warm and peaceful. But Katherine often complains to him: Why have you never said “I love you” to me? I like more passion from you”. Katherine is a princess from a very rich family growing up with full of love and care. She doesn’t know that love can be so different in this peaceful way. Akira is from a poor family and his parents died when he was young. He was raised up by his grandmother who also died before he went to university so in his mind, he believes life is hard. The best way to face life is keeping calm, quiet, low profile, studying hard and working hard. After living very long time with his grandmother, he also inherited the kind personality from his grandmother.

After Katherine went to the airport, Akira works in the milk factor with a sad and guilty mood. Due to he failed to say “I love you” to Katherine before she went to airport, because her mother and Karolina were there to make him shy to say it.

In the flight, Katherine is also in a sad mood because even before she departed to the airport, Akira still didn’t say “I love you” to her. “He is really like a stupid wooden man” Katherine thinks it in her mind with an angry and sweet missing mood. With Karolina’s company, and the delicious meal in the business class, Katherine forgets the bad mood gradually.

In the evening, they arrive Sydney airport. Karolina’s boyfriend Arjan is waiting at the arrival hall exit already. Arjan is a mathematic genius. He is studying in the Sydney university. He is very smart but sometimes over active and a bit naughty. He will drive with them to Brisbane the city where Karolina lives then they will go to the very famous Gold Coast.

Early in the morning Olga was woken up by an English conversation form her mother’s painting studio. “Mrs. Lin, this is Natalie from Czech. Do you still remember me? I am so sorry to disturb you after so many years. But our daughter needs your help! Could you come to Prague immediately….”  Olga feels very curious and strange about whom her mother is talking with. She does not remember that her mother has any friends from Asia called Mrs. Lin and she has not heard her mother speaking English for very many years already. She pretends sleeping until Natalie finishes her phone conversation. Olga found that her mother has a big secret but why did her mother say “Our daughter”?  “Did I have another mother?” Olga talks to herself.

Natalie comes to wake up Olga, My sweetheart, did you feel better? You will be late for work. It’s time to wake up. Olga stretching her arms and says good morning mom. I feel better already. I should hurry up, otherwise I will be late to buy some flowers for Akira then she jumps up and walk to bathroom. Natalie looks at Olga’s bank and thinks in her mind “My girl really fell in love with Akira already. I don’t believe this special connection really exists”

After 2 days, one Asian woman comes to Olga’s hospital with Natalie. Natalie introduces Olga to Mrs. Lin says: this is our daughter. Mrs. Lin looks at Olga and touches her head says: You grew up already and I am very happy that you really become a good doctor. Then Mrs. Lin hugs Olga for a very long time with tears in her eyes. Olga also feels a very familiar feeling in her mind too but she doesn’t know why. Then Natalie introduces Mrs. Lin to Olga and says: “She is the mother in law of Akira. She will sign the operation agreement for Akira and she will pay all the operation expenses for Akira. Olga says: “Mum, you knew Akira’s mother?  Why didn’t you help him earlier and just let Akira lying there without any help” But Natalie doesn’t want to explain anything more. Natalie says to Olga: Let’s prepare everything for Akira’s operation first. After Akira wakes up, you will understand everything. Even though Olga has very many doubts in her mind, she feels very happy that Akira can have a chance to survive and recover from coma.

It’s a very difficult neurosurgery and the possibility to fail is also very high. Akira may recover after this neurosurgery but also may die in it if something wrong. After preparing for 2 days, the operation is ready for Akira. Two Nurses deliver Akira into the operation room. Mrs. Lin, Olga and Natalie are waiting outside. On the operating table, Akira is still in a coma. In his dream he is flying back to school with Katherine.

After Katherine moved to same floor apartment with Akira, their life becomes very close and sweet. They have breakfast together then go to school together every day. After school, Katherine tries to cook dinner for Akira because Akira needs to work to earn money for his living expenses. After Akira comes back from work, they have dinner together then study together. They enjoy this close and sweet life very much. Akira is just like the shadow of Katherine. They stick to each other all the time. Time in the sweet life flying very fast, very soon winter vacation is coming.

There is saying in Taiwan: “If you live in a too happy life, sometimes even the god will also envy you! “

Olga is a very beautiful nice girl born in Belarus. She immigrated to Czech with her parents when she was 6 years old. She is tall, slim and have very good looking which all men walk by will turn their head back to see her again and again. She never feels proud of her looking. On the contrary, because of being immigration, she studied harder than the same age students. Her parents educated her strictly so she was always at the top 3 places in school study performance. But she is not a happy girl. She doesn’t like to talk and only pay very much attention on studying. She likes painting like her mother. She is very good at skiing like her father. When she began to work in the emergency department, on her desk always has flowers from the admirers not only from hospital colleagues but also from the patients who she ever saved. But she never felt interested in any man, she just concentrated on her work because it’s an emergency first aid job.

Nobody has very seen her smile happily like this way when she talks to Akira. People begin to discuss more and more in the hospital about who is the lucky patient. Some nurses asked Olga why do you like this patient in coma and buy flowers for him every morning. Olga just said because I knew him when I studied in the university and he took care of me very much. But nobody believes this answer. People just thought because Olga couldn’t save Akira at the first aid and let him become coma so she felt guilty and would to do something for Akira as compensation. Also some people said Olga went mad already.

Olga tries to help Akira recover from coma. She discussed the situation with neurosurgeon to see any possibility to have a neurosurgery for Akira to remove the gore form his brain. But without any signature of Akira’s family on the surgery agreement, no any doctors can have any surgery on Akira’s brain. Olga feels very frustrated stuck in this terrible situation. She worries very much if Akira is in the coma situation too long then he will become in Persistent Vegetative State forever.

Olga asked help from her psychology professor in her university. They have coffee together in the hospital restaurant. Olga told her professor about the situation and the strange connections with Akira in the dreams. Olga consults her professor why there is a special connection between her and Akira. Professor says: “Maybe both of you have same unforgettable memory in the last life. And you met together coincidentally to trigger this unforgettable memory in your last life.” What is unforgettable memory in our last life?” Olga asks. Professor says: “In some real cases, if the couple suddenly lost their lover with an unfinished wish then this kind of memories will keep in both of the lovers’ minds even after they died.” Olga asks:” Can this unforgettable memory last till next life?” Professor says: “Some real cases proved the answer is yes. Especially if one of the lovers is still alive and keeps the extremely sad memory then she or he can feel some connections from the other world through dreams.”

Olga feels stronger and stronger that she knew this man somewhere before and it seems he is an important person in her life. But she really has never been to Asia. So she feels very confused in her mind. Why can I have connections with this man through dreams? She decides to ask her mother again. After work, Olga arrives home. As usual, she goes to see her mother Natalie at her painting studio. She specially makes 2 cups of coffee planning to have a long talk with her mother.  “Mom have you ever taken me to any Asian countries when I was a child? “ Olga asked. Natalie stops her painting work and look at Olga with a surprised expression on her face. “Why? Why are you asking this question?” Natalie asked. Olga says: “I strongly felt that I knew the man sent to my hospital and I can have connections with him through dreams. So I want to know why?” Natalie clearly says: “No! I have never taken you to any Asian countries. You must be too tired during this period. Rest more and don’t stay with that stranger patient all the time. His coma situation is not your fault. Don’t blame on yourself in this way then become so hysteria.” Natalie finishes the coffee very fast silently then turn back to paint and leave Olga sitting there with many questions in her mind. Since Olga couldn’t get any answers from Natalie. She decided to find the answers from Akira and from her dreams. So she talks to Akira every day and keeps asking him: “Where are you from? Why did you appear in my dreams?” It seems that Akira can hear and understand Olga. Akira is shivering on his mouth every time when Olga talks to him. But he still can’t wake up from his coma.

In Akira’s dream, time is flying. He lives happily with Katherine with his care and the first school year ends. Akira and Katherine lives in the same city in the south of Taiwan. So they take bus together back home for summer vacation. Katherine’s parents request to see Akira because on their everyday phone conversation with Katherine, Akira is always the topic what Katherine talks every time. And they would like to know who takes care of their daughter in this careful way and who helps her to pass the first school year life. Katherine invites Akira to have a dinner with her family at her home. Akira feels very nervous about this dinner with Katherine’s family. Because Akira is from a poor family but Katherine is from a very rich family and her father is a famous doctor in the south of Taiwan.

On that day of the dinner, Akira comes to a very big house with a big garden. He is hesitating to ring the bell and standing outside in front of the big house for a long while. Suddenly the big gate is opened and Katherine comes out to welcome him and says: ”What are you doing here. You are late for 30 minutes already. Everybody is waiting for you. Come in please!” Then she holds Akira’s hands walking into the big house. At the same time, Akira is very nervous with his back full of sweat. To Akira’s surprise, the parents of Katherine are very friendly and kind. They are totally without any proud feelings of rich people. They keep saying thanks to Akira for taking care of Katherine in the school. With their kind way, Akira relaxes himself and has a very happy dinner with Katherine’s parents. Katherine’s mother likes Akira very much. She said: “Without your help, Katherine couldn’t finish her first school year. Please keep taking care of her and we will treat you as our family. Please come to visit us often!” Akira nods his head with his shy smile on his face. After dinner, Katherine walks out Akira. She tells Akira that both of her parents like him very much and says: ”Now we are a couple with blessing from parents then give Akira a very big hug and say goodbye. On the way home, Akira rides his motorcycle happily with the warmth of Katherine’s hugs.

For earning more money for next school year, Akira goes to work in milk factory as a porter. He needs to clean the very big stirring tank and to move the milk on to the truck after it filled into bottles. It’s a very heavy load work in physical. But Akira enjoys it very much because he can swim in the milk when he cleans the big stirring tank. Katherine worries he will get hurt in this heavy load work so she asks her father to arrange a better job in her father’s hospital. But Akira refuses to accept it. This makes Katherine angry for long while but Akira feels comfortable to earn money with his own efforts.

To have a better summer vacation for Katherine, every afternoon when Akira finishes his work, he takes Katherine to the beach. They walk together on the beach. But Katherine often makes jokes on Akira and says: “Your body is full of milk smell. I like this milky Akira. May I have a bite on your face?” Then Akira runs away with a happy laughter. Sometimes Akira teaches Katherine how to surf. He hopes the health situation of Katherine can become better by doing more sports with him. With the company of Akira, Katherine really spent a very happy summer vacation. But Akira doesn’t know doing too many sports is not good for Katherine’s eyes. It will make the retina become unstable.

After Akira knew the problem of Katherine’s eyes, he tried his best to help her. First, he went to talk to her professors with the name of school charity organization and arranged the first line of seat in the classroom for Katherine for every lesson. Then he invites Katherine’s classmates to have a meeting. He explained the situation of Katherine and asked them trying to help her as much as possible but not let her feel she is a disabled person. After all were well arranged, when Akira have time, he goes to the classroom to attend the lessons with Katherine to make lesson notes for her to help her to study. By the help of Akira, Katherine passed the first exam. She was very happy about this first success in her university life. But on the other hand, Katherine feels a bit embarrassed about the change of her life because now everybody treats her like a disabled person and always comes to ask her: do you need to any help?

Katherine decided to change this kind of being protected life so she went to join another charity organization for helping orphans and didn’t tell Akira about it. After she really helped some orphans in a weekend by teaching them how to play piano and sing together happily, she felt very happy and felt she is really not a disabled person. But she began to stop Akira to go to his classroom to help her for learning and ask Akira not to come to see her so often because she wants to be independent. Akira felt very disappointed about this big change but he respected the decision of Katherine. But not only refused the help from Akira. Katherine also refused any help from her classmates. And her personality became very strange and stubborn. She skipped the school lessons very often. Now the only one thing what can make her feel happy is going to help the orphans and singing with them.

Akira felt guilty about his help became hurt so he dares not to see Katherine often but he still cares about her very much. One day, they have same charity event for an orphanage. After the event, Katherine refused everybody’s help for driving her home and insisted to take bus home by herself. But because she couldn’t see the number of bus, so she missed the last bus and it’s in the late evening already. She stood at the bus stop alone and the sky getting darker and darker then it began to rain. Katherine didn’t bring an umbrella with her so she tried to run to find a place under the roof. But because of slippery floor and her bad eyesight, she felt down on to the ground and hurt her ankle. Katherine couldn’t control herself anymore. She bursts out crying loudly on the ground and said “Why the god wants to punish me in this way. I didn’t do anything bad in my life”. At this moment, Akira walked to her quietly with an umbrella and with one extra raincoat on hand. He said to Katherine: Don’t cry. At least, I am with you.  Katherine looked at Akira then hugged him tightly without saying a word. They rode the motorcycle together back to school dormitory. On the way home, Katherine just held Akira tightly from back seat without saying anything. But in her mind, she was blaming on herself and said: Why I am so stupid to hurt this good man who loves me so much. They just kept riding silently in the rain and they know clearly they can’t live without each other already.

The next day morning, Olga woke up happily because she seemed having a nice dream last night, but without any reason, she felt very hurt on her ankle. She sits on the bed for a long while. Her mother Natalie came to ask her: what happened? Olga answered her with a smile on her face and said: “I felt down in the rain last night! “Then she got up from the bed and walked normally to prepare the breakfast.

Natalie had a very big question mark in her mind with fear and looked at Olga’s back. Natalie felt something strange happened to Olga because yesterday was a very good weather without any rain still this morning.

The next day, Olga comes to work as usual. But the first thing what she does is to see Akira. But Akira seems not getting better still in the deep coma situation but his heart beating is becoming stable. Olga holds Akira’s hands and says: “Have a nice day Akira. I think your name must be Akira!” But this time, the heart beating of Akira doesn’t change. Just keeps the stable way to beat and also without tears in his eyes anymore.

Akira keeps staying in the dream with Katherine…. Akira is a student studying in the faculty of computer science. His school work is very heavy. Besides the school lessons, he also often needs to stay up overnight to code the different program assignments from professors. But when he has time, he goes to Katherine’s classroom to see if anything he can help on. Katherine is also very happy to see Akira often because he really can be her eyes to lead her to see many things and help on many things. But after very long time, Akira still doesn’t know that Katherine has problem on her eyesight.

One day, Akira went to see Katherine happily as usual. Katherine just finished a class lesson and talked to her classmates outside the classroom. Akira waves his hand happily to her in a distance. But Katherine keeps no responding to him. Akira walks closer and waves his hand again but Katherine still keeps talking to her classmates without noticing Akira is standing nearby. Akira feels very strange why Katherine keeps no responding to him and a bit sad in his mind. But Akira stands under a tree waiting for Katherine to finish the conversation with her classmates. After Katherine says goodbye to her classmates, she stands at the same place looking around waiting for Akira. Akira waves his hand hardly again to Katherine but Katherine still keeps no responding. Akira decides to walk to Katherine. When Akira walks behind Katherine and touches her on her shoulder, Katherine suddenly shocked and says why you want to scare me in this way. Akira feels very strange in his mind and thinks “Why I kept waving my hand walking to Katherine but she was shocked by me”. Akira didn’t ask Katherine anything about this doubt. He just invited her to eat dinner together at a noodle booth near school.

During the dinner, both of them are a bit quiet in an unusual way. But both of them are thinking different things in their minds. Katherine is thinking that she can’t catch up the progress of school lessons because she can’t see anything about what professors wrote on the blackboard in the classroom. She only can write down the notes by listening. And she felt shy with borrowing the lesson notes again and again from her classmates. Because her classmates always asked “why do you need our lesson notes? You were in the class too and you always paid full attention to the lessons.” The first exam is coming. Katherine really worries how to pass the exam but she doesn’t’ want to tell Akira about the problem of her eyesight.

Akira decides to break the silence. He asks Katherine “Why didn’t you respond me when I waved my hand to you outside your classroom? I waved my hand to you again and again. Were you angry with me about anything? “. Katherine keeps silent for very long time with tears in her eyes. She doesn’t know how to answer this question to Akira. She also worries very much about what will happen after Akira knows about her problem of eyes. She stands up and says: Excuse me! I need to go to toilet then runs to opposite direction of toilet. Akira says loudly “Toilet is in another way”. Katherine bursts out crying and says “I can’t see where the toilet is“

Having big fear in her mind, Olga gets off from her bed and runs to her mother’s room. Mom! Mom! I had a very strange nightmare. I heard a man- Akira called me Katherine in the dream. I heard it clearly just like he called me next to me. Mom, do you know who is Akira? Natalie says: My girl, it was just a dream. Don’t think too much. Olga asks again, Mom do you know who is Katherine? Natalie has a strange expression on her face, stops about 5 seconds but she still says to Olga: my girl it’s just a dream. Please don’t think too much. Natalie walks together with Olga back to her room. Gives Olga a warm hug with kissing on her cheek says good night! Sleep tight my sweetheart.

The next day morning, Olga goes to work as usual but she goes to check the status of Akira first. She asks the duty nurse: Any special status happened last night for the patient from the car accident? The duty nurse says” Nothing special happened. But his heart beats in an unstable way sometimes very fast sometimes very slow. It seems he was in a nightmare. After the duty nurse left, Olga has an idea coming to her mind. She sits next to Akira and holds his left hand asking “Who are you? Are you Akira? “. At this moment, Akira’s heart beats faster and in his eyes with tears. Olga feels very shock and also her heart beats very faster too but she doesn’t know why?

During the working time, when Olga has time, she comes to see Akira and talks to him. She tries to find out the reason why Akira and herself have this same special reaction. But it’s really very strange every time when Olga talks to Akira both of their hearts beating faster and in Akira’s eyes always have tears. Olga begins to feel that she likes to talk to Akira but she also feel scary about this very strange situation because it couldn’t be explained by science or by the professional training she has ever had. Before the end of her work, Olga comes to say goodbye to Akira, but this time the very strange thing happened, Olga herself suddenly has a very hurt feeling in her heart and burst out crying. She holds the hand of Akira carrying for about 10 minutes, at the same time, Akira also has tears full of his eyes. After Olga stops crying, she left the hospital with a very sad mood with a very exhausted body. And Akira begins to dream again..

Olga arrives home but directly goes to sleep silently without saying anything to her mother because she would like to get into the dream to know who the man is in her dream calling her Katherine.  

Every day when she arrives home, the first thing she does is going to painting studio to talk to her mother --Natalie but today she does not do it. Natalie stays in her painting workshop and looking at the oil painting of Brisbane golden coast. She seems also thinking about something very painful for her life and forgets the dinnertime.
