Early in the morning Olga was woken up by an English conversation form her mother’s painting studio. “Mrs. Lin, this is Natalie from Czech. Do you still remember me? I am so sorry to disturb you after so many years. But our daughter needs your help! Could you come to Prague immediately….” Olga feels very curious and strange about whom her mother is talking with. She does not remember that her mother has any friends from Asia called Mrs. Lin and she has not heard her mother speaking English for very many years already. She pretends sleeping until Natalie finishes her phone conversation. Olga found that her mother has a big secret but why did her mother say “Our daughter”? “Did I have another mother?” Olga talks to herself.
Natalie comes to wake up Olga, My sweetheart, did you feel better? You will be late for work. It’s time to wake up. Olga stretching her arms and says good morning mom. I feel better already. I should hurry up, otherwise I will be late to buy some flowers for Akira then she jumps up and walk to bathroom. Natalie looks at Olga’s bank and thinks in her mind “My girl really fell in love with Akira already. I don’t believe this special connection really exists”

After Akira knew the problem of Katherine’s eyes, he tried his best to help her. First, he went to talk to her professors with the name of school charity organization and arranged the first line of seat in the classroom for Katherine for every lesson. Then he invites Katherine’s classmates to have a meeting. He explained the situation of Katherine and asked them trying to help her as much as possible but not let her feel she is a disabled person. After all were well arranged, when Akira have time, he goes to the classroom to attend the lessons with Katherine to make lesson notes for her to help her to study. By the help of Akira, Katherine passed the first exam. She was very happy about this first success in her university life. But on the other hand, Katherine feels a bit embarrassed about the change of her life because now everybody treats her like a disabled person and always comes to ask her: do you need to any help?
Katherine decided to change this kind of being protected life so she went to join another charity organization for helping orphans and didn’t tell Akira about it. After she really helped some orphans in a weekend by teaching them how to play piano and sing together happily, she felt very happy and felt she is really not a disabled person. But she began to stop Akira to go to his classroom to help her for learning and ask Akira not to come to see her so often because she wants to be independent. Akira felt very disappointed about this big change but he respected the decision of Katherine. But not only refused the help from Akira. Katherine also refused any help from her classmates. And her personality became very strange and stubborn. She skipped the school lessons very often. Now the only one thing what can make her feel happy is going to help the orphans and singing with them.

The next day, Olga comes to work as usual. But the first thing what she does is to see Akira. But Akira seems not getting better still in the deep coma situation but his heart beating is becoming stable. Olga holds Akira’s hands and says: “Have a nice day Akira. I think your name must be Akira!” But this time, the heart beating of Akira doesn’t change. Just keeps the stable way to beat and also without tears in his eyes anymore.
Akira keeps staying in the dream with Katherine…. Akira is a student studying in the faculty of computer science. His school work is very heavy. Besides the school lessons, he also often needs to stay up overnight to code the different program assignments from professors. But when he has time, he goes to Katherine’s classroom to see if anything he can help on. Katherine is also very happy to see Akira often because he really can be her eyes to lead her to see many things and help on many things. But after very long time, Akira still doesn’t know that Katherine has problem on her eyesight.
